On September 23, 2006 O'Sensei Michael DePasquale, Sr. passed away. The world has lost a martial arts legend and pioneer. A loving husband, father and teacher he will be sadly missed by all.

IFOJJ Legion of Honor
In 2005, the IFOJJ announced it’s first inductees into their Legion of Honor. All honorees were nominated by their peers and reviewed by the IFOJJ board of directors. At the time three levels of awards were presented; Shogun (Grandmaster award), Samurai (Master Award), and Bushido (Instructor Award). Pictured to the right are the first recipients of the Shogun Award. There will be no Legion of Honor awards at this event and that will be reserved for the MAU Legion of Honor Banquet which will take place in 2013; date to be announced after the 2012 IFOJJ MAU Weekend of Warriors Camp on the weekend of July 20th, in Tappan NY .
